對于即將來臨的都靈冬奧會，各項(xiàng)冰上運(yùn)動屆時可讓體育愛好者大飽眼福，skeleton（俯式冰撬）項(xiàng)目是冬奧會熱門看點(diǎn)之一。
請看冬奧會官方網(wǎng)站上的介紹： Considered the world's first sliding sport,skeletonwas started in the Swiss town of St. Moritz in the late 1800s. The first competition was held in 1884.It wasn't until 1887 that riders began competing in the prone position used today. The sport received its name in 1892, when a new sled made mostly of metal was introduced. People thought it looked like a skeleton.
俯式冰撬最早流傳于北歐。它是以雪橇為工具，借助起滑的慣性，從山坡沿專門構(gòu)筑的冰道快速滑降的一種運(yùn)動項(xiàng)目。比賽中，運(yùn)動員采用俯臥姿勢，頭部在前，以皮靴防滑釘控制運(yùn)動方向。冰橇運(yùn)動的開始過程與雪橇運(yùn)動相同。句中說，因?yàn)檫\(yùn)動員的裝束與狀態(tài)像一架骷髏，此項(xiàng)體育競賽于1892年正式命名為skeleton。
