大家都知道rebound有“彈回、跳回”的意思，rebound在籃球比賽中，還可用來指“籃板球”、“籃板球搶得”，也就是在球沒有入籃而從籃板或籃框彈出來之后重新獲得球的控制權(quán)。例如： He seized the rebounds and sank the basket.（他搶得籃板球，投籃得分。）
Rebound可直接作動(dòng)詞使用，如：The guard rebounded the ball in backcourt.（后衛(wèi)在后場搶得籃板球。）
On the rebound 是個(gè)有趣的詞組，尤指“（失戀后）閃電式的戀情”，如He married a different girl on the rebound.（他失戀后立即與另一女孩結(jié)婚。）
