6月23日。德國通用汽車公司宣布計(jì)劃和中國的合作伙伴共同投資2500萬美元，以擴(kuò)大其在中國重要的小汽車設(shè)計(jì)中心，并于明年1月將其亞太地區(qū)的總部遷往中國上海。在解釋這樣做的原因時(shí)，亞洲汽車資源負(fù)責(zé)人鄧恩說：If you look around the world in terms of profitability, growth in China is head and shoulders above everybody else. 顯然他對中國的小汽車市場充滿了信心。在這里他用了head and shoulders above這個(gè)固定短語，是“遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超出”的意思。
