U.S. President George W. Bush rides in the front of his campaign bus after speaking at the Waukesha County Exposition Center in Waukesha, while campaigning in Wisconsin, July 14, 2004. Bush was on the defensive again on Wednesday amid new criticism of the intelligence used to justify the Iraq war. He told an open-air rally here that ousting Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do, even though the stockpiles of weapons the former Iraqi president was accused of possessing have not been found. The United States used the alleged existence of such weapons to justify its invasion of Iraq. [Reuters] |
