A JetBlue aircraft with its front landing gear turned sideways approaches the
runway to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport
September 21, 2005. The airliner with a crippled nose gear and 146 people on
board made a successful emergency landing on Wednesday after circling the
California coast for about three hours to burn off fuel. [Reuters]
