Chinese sides ready for AFC Champions League
Chinese sides Shandong Luneng and Shenzhen Jianlibao are ready for the live-or-die clashes against respective rivals at Wednesday night's AFC Champions League quarter-finals. The matches are the last leg of the quarter-finals. Shandong were held to a 1-1 draw by the visiting Saudi side last week and need to get a result in Jeddah Wednesday night. Shenzhen, meanwhile, find themselves with their backs to the wall once again and in desparate need of a home win to prolong their interst in this season's competition. The Chinese Super League champions lost 2-1 to Al Ahli in the first leg of their quarter-final clash in Jeddah, a home victory is all they need to stay alive in the AFC Champions League.
