Car bomb kills at least six in Baghdad
A car bomb killed at least six people and wounded 28 in Baghdad on Wednesday, a police source said.
Insurgents bent on toppling the U.S.-backed interim government frequently attack security forces and police with suicide and car bombs, and have killed hundreds in such attacks.
The violence followed a suicide car bombing that killed 125 people in the southern city of Hilla on Monday, the single deadliest attack in Iraq since the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. |
