Nicole Kidman has made it into the 50th anniversary edition of the Guinness
Book of Records after becoming the highest-paid actress in a commercial.

US$3.71m for her part in a four-minute Chanel No. 5 advertisement. The Guinness
book editors note that the actress earned US$928,800 per minute.
The four-minute advertisement has been billed as "a fairy-tale romance," in
which Kidman portrays a super star being pursued by paparazzi in a cityscape
lined with billboards bearing her image.
The advertisement was directed by Baz Luhrmann, whose credits include Moulin
Rouge, in which Kidman had the leading role.
