There were 24 awards in two major catagories, technical and popular. The technical awards acknowledged people from the fashion industry including models, designers and fashion photographers, while the popular awards recognized the most stylish people in the fields of music, television, film and sports.

Guo Jingjing, the Olympic gold winner recently popular in the entertainment field, was awarded the Most Stylish Sports Person. Huang Xiaoming was selected the Most Stylish Newcomer in Entertainment. Fan Bingbing and Li Bingbing were voted the Most Stylish Actresses.

Other winners include Taiwan pop star Jerry Zhou, Hong Kong duet singers Twins, American-Chinese pop singer Coco Lee, and American-Chinese fashion figure Yue-sai Kan.

Besides the stars, this year¡¯s ceremony featured live music and dance performances by India¡¯s hottest acts and ramp walks from Bollywood.

Four years ago, Lycra pioneered the concept of the Style Awards in China, with the participation of superstars from across the fields of fashion, entertainment, sports and music.
