Ferguson: I'm picking the wrong teams
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says he has picked the wrong teams at times this season. "Maybe at the moment I am making too many changes," Ferguson told British newspapers ahead of United's Champions League clash with Sparta Prague later on Tuesday. "There's no doubt we have got the players, but at the moment I am picking the wrong teams for a variety of reasons," Ferguson told reporters in Prague. United are sitting pretty at the top of Champions League Group D, with four points from two games, but their form in domestic competition has been mediocre. Ferguson's team have won only three of their nine Premier League matches this season and are sixth in the table, already 11 points adrift of runaway leaders Arsenal. "We are not getting any consistency and that is definitely affecting our performances," Ferguson said. |
