son who was released May 21, 2004 from the infamous Abu Ghraib jail
compound, which is 30 kilometres west of Baghdad and has been the centre
of a prisoner abuse scandal. Buses packed with Iraqis drove away from the
gates of the Abu Ghraib prison as part of the scheduled release of 472
prisoners, with 293 prisoners being freed from the jail on Friday.
