He Luli, vice-chairwoman of NPC Standing Committee The following is the biographical sketch of He Luli, who was just elected vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC): Female, born in 1934, of Han nationality, native of Heze, Shandong Province. Member of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang ( RCCK), began working in 1957, graduated from Department of Medicine of Beijing Medical College, assistant physician-in-charge. Student at Department of Medicine of Beijing Medical College in 1952-1957; resident physician with Beijing Children's Hospital and Beijing Xicheng District Children's Hospital, and assistant physician-in-charge with Beijing No. 2 Hospital in 1957-1984; deputy head of Xicheng District, Beijing, in 1984-1988; vice-mayor of Beijing, vice-chairwoman of RCCK National Committee, chairwoman of RCCK Beijing Municipal Committee, vice-president of All-China Women's Federation in 1988-1996. Vice-chairwoman of National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice-chairwoman of RCCK National Committee, chairwoman of RCCK Beijing Municipal Committee, vice-chairwoman of All-China Women's Federation in 1996-1998; vice- chairwoman of NPC Standing Committee, chairwoman of RCCK National Committee and president of Central Socialism Academy since 1998.
