Explosion suspects nabbed in NW Province
        ( 2003-09-27 22:03) (Xinhua)

Two suspects for an explosion that killed three people and injured five others in Baoji City of northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Sept. 21, have been arrested, police said Saturday.

Wang Rangke, manager of Baoji Hengfeng Vegetable and Fruit Company, allegedly killed a business competitor, aided by his brother-in-law Zhao Shouyi, and the two were detained Saturday morning, said an officer with the Baoji City Bureau of Public Security.

The two suspects allegedly installed explosives in the car of the businessman surnamed Ma, in the early morning of Sept. 21. However, the detonator fell off and detonated the bomb, killing a woman who was attempting to return the box-like detonator to the driver, Ma.

The blast also injured another seven people including Ma and two of the injured died after being rushed to hospital.
