David Beckham leads Real Madrid to win
        ( 2003-08-06 08:48) (Agencies)

David Beckham scored his first goal for Real Madrid on Tuesday on a trademark curling free kick in a 3-0 victory over FC Tokyo in the second match of a promotional tour.

Beckham scored on a free kick in the 37th minute after Solari was tripped up just outside the box.

Beckham's shot got through the wall and over the outstretched hands of goalkeeper Yoichi Doi in front of 48,000 spectators at a rain-soaked National Stadium.

Solari made it 2-0 just before the break, picking up a rebound off a Portillo drive that Doi was unable to handle.

Ronaldo, who came on as a substitute in the second half, made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute, stepping around a defender and scoring on a shot into the far corner.

Beckham made his much-anticipated debut in Saturday's 4-0 win over a Chinese select team in Beijing. He played 73 minutes but did not score.

Real Madrid signed Beckham for $40 million last month on a transfer from Manchester United.

Beckham played a key role in Real Madrid's attacking in the first half, firing a free kick into the hands of Doi in the 17th minute and setting up Portillo from the right wing.
