Coach: Real Madrid match a chance to learn
        ( 2003-08-02 09:50) (Xinhua)

The match between Chinese Dragon Team and Real Madrid will be a good chance for Chinese players to learn most advanced football skills, the Chinese side's head coach Qi Wusheng said in Beijing on Friday.

Qi, a former Chinese national coach who is managing first division side Yunnan, warned his players that they should try their best or they will regret for the rest of their lives.

"I think everybody in the squad can a lot from the match, which will be always remembered by us."

But Qi also revealed that the Chinese players, who just came off the Chinese first division league matches on Wednesday, are all very tired and they must overcome fatigue to give the fans a high-quality match.

The Dragon Team skipper Li Weifeng was also excited about such a match. "We are excited to play the world's best team. Most importantly, we can learn a lot from the match."

Queiroz vows to play "highest-quality" match

Real Madrid head coach Carlos Queiroz said that the nine-time European champions will play a " highest-quality" match for the Chinese fans in the match.

Queiroz said: "The organizing work for this tour is magnificent. I think everybody feel satisfied. We hope we can give the Chinese fans the highest-quality match on Sunday. "

Real striker Raul was also full of praise of the hospitality and enthusiasm of the Chinese fans and organizers. "We had a very significant training session in Kunming. We will try our best to give them a wonderful match, to let them enjoy Real Madrid's football."
