A painting by Bai Di. [Photo provided to China Daily] |
Chinese painter Bai Di's work reflects a lot — restlessness, sorrow and confusion over things. And, being a woman has made her more sensitive to social issues, some would argue.
At Beijing's Today Art Museum her ongoing exhibition More Than This unfolds her art world of distorted figures, graffiti-style brushwork and imposing colors. The show runs through Aug 2.
