China International Chorus Festival

China International Chorus Festival, beginning in July 1992, is the most influential biennial chorus festival in China. The chorus festival is also the only national chorus art activity acknowledged by the State Council in China.

Thousands of choruses and performers from more than 100 countries have graced the event with their beautiful voices since the launch of the festival. The event will continue to strengthen the cultural exchange between China and other countries.

The 13th festival was held in Beijing in 2016, featuring 204 sessions of performances given by 238 choruses from 44 countries and regions. A total of 20 chorus concerts were staged at the Beijing Concert Hall and the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center during the festival.

The year 2018 will see the 14th festival held in the capital city.
