On 25 and 26 April, States Parties to the 2003 Convention and observers are invited to participate in the third part of the Open-ended intergovernmental working group in the framework of the global reflection on the listing mechanisms of the 2003 Convention.

This meeting is convened following the extension of the mandate of the working group by the sixteenth session of the Committee, issues and will focus in particular on the annual number of files including aspects such as the composition and working methods of the Evaluation Body, amongst other topics.

Part III of the working group will take place fully online from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Paris time). The debates can be followed live in the original language with interpretation in English and in French. Recordings will be made available during the following week.

The working documents and agenda for the Part III meeting, as well as all the documents so far published within the global reflection, are now available online. All participants, delegates and observers are advised to register as soon as possible. Participants wishing to take the floor (‘a(chǎn)ctive participation’) have to be connected to Zoom platform; delegations are invited to limit the number of simultaneous active connections on Zoom according to the following recommendations: two simultaneous active connections per State Party; one per State not Party; one per member of the NGO Steering Committee; one per Category 2 Center; other active connections to accredited NGOs subject to availability. In case of urgency, please contact ICHmeetings@unesco.org.

The global reflection on the listing mechanisms is made possible through generous funding from the Government of Japan.
