KMT leader pays tribute to Dr. Sun Yat-sen
NANJING - Hung Hsiu-chu, leader of Taiwan's Kuomintang (KMT) Party, paid tribute to KMT founder Sun Yat-sen at his mausoleum in Nanjing Monday.
During her visit to the mausoleum Monday morning, Hung praised Sun's historic achievements. She said the mainland and Taiwan, inspired by Sun, would work together to rejuvenate the Chinese nation and improve the lives of the people, promote peace and development, and create a brighter future.
Hung, who headed a delegation from Taiwan, arrived in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, Sunday evening. She is also scheduled to visit Beijing.
