BEIJING -- China's top legislature decided Monday on the agenda for their next bimonthly session, including shipping navigation and food safety legislation.
The National People's Congress Standing Committee will convene from Dec 22 to 28, and the session will also include deliberation on draft revision to the Legislation Law, the Advertisement Law, National Security Law, administration of overseas non-governmental organizations and the Air Pollution Law.
The session will also cover a bill on next year's annual NPC session.
Improvements to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization anti-terrorism pact, and two treaties concerning extradition with Afghanistan and Iran will also be discussed.
Reports on urban and rural social security system, new rural building work, water conservation, the Tourism Law, and the qualifications of some NPC deputies will also be on the table.
