BEIJING - Heavy rainfall will hit South China over the coming two days with the provinces of Guangxi and Guangdong to see strong rainstorms, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Sunday.
Thunderstorms and strong gales will likely to pound those regions, the center said, warning authorities in regions south of the Yangtze River and some parts in South China to guard against possible floods, landslides, mud-rock flows and waterlogging.
In the north, most parts will see scarce rainfall and high temperatures over the next three days, which means high risks of forestry fires, the center cautioned.
