Two cross-Straits expositions will be held in Fujian province this month.
The 9th Cross-Straits Forestry Expo will be held in Sanming from Nov 6 to 9 to enhance cooperation between the mainland and Taiwan in the forestry industry.
Featuring exhibitions and symposiums on forest management and wood technology, the expo will invite more than 300 experts and entrepreneurs in the forestry industry from Taiwan.
The four-day event will provide a trading platform for projects not only in the field of forestry and agriculture, but also related to industries such as biological medicine and green food.
For the first time, there will be an exclusive exhibition area displaying the latest innovative and outstanding achievements in forestry research.
The 7th Cross-Straits Tea Expo will be held in Wuyishan, a county-level city in the province, from Nov 16 to 18.
The exhibition will host 1,200 booths that will cover various products ranging from tea to tea testing instruments. More than 100 Taiwan tea enterprises will take part in this year's expo.
A tea culture festival featuring tea-making performances, academic forums on tea-processing history and the relation between drinking tea and human health will also be staged during the event.
Named after Wuyi Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the city is the cradle of most black teas in the world.
