Beijing Health Bureau said Tuesday about 10,000 participants in the 60th anniversary parade that have been vaccinated against the A(H1N1) flu were in good condition, Xinhuanet.com reported.

The bureau's disease prevention and control center said Beijing became the first city to give out free vaccines in China on Sept 21. The free vaccines cover students and other participants in the National Day parade, who can get vaccinated at a designated place and time after signing an application sheet.

Government-funded vaccinations will be offered to children and senior people in Beijing after the National Day holiday, the Beijing News said Tuesday.

The interval between the A(H1N1) flu vaccination and seasonal influenza vaccination should be more than 15 days, the bureau noted.
