'Central tour' begins in Ruijin

Updated: 2006-07-24 13:36 The "Brand Promotion" tour team arrived in Ruijin, a city in East China's Jiangxi Province and the first leg of the central route of the tour initiated by the Ministry of Commerce, on July 22. A flag presentation ceremony of the Brand Promotion tour was held in the city on July 23.
The Brand Promotion tour members, including officials from the ministry, journalists, volunteers and sponsors, and the local government officials and residents attended the ceremony. The tour aims to further strengthen the awareness of home-grown brands of the whole nation and form friendly environment of "constructing brand, promoting brand, using brand and cherishing brand" in the country to accelerate home-grown brands construction, boost the change of trade growth mode and strengthen the comprehensive national power, according to Cao Derong, assistant inspector of the Department of Market System Development under the ministry. Ruijin is the cradle of Chinese revolution and the start of "Long March". Home-grown brands cultivation is a "business long march" in the new era and it needs hard efforts and long time practice, said Cao. |
