Will the future be curved? The argument turns into a full blown debate since plenty of electronic manufacturers promoted their curved screens for visual displays at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

During the show, we've seen curved TVs produced by traditional digital giants such as Sony, Samsung, LG and Panasonic while China's local brands, TCL, Haier, Konka, Changhong and Hisence, also presented their curved TV products.

Media and industrial insiders both ask in regards to curved screens, will it be a new digital trend or is it just a marketing gimmick to provide a sweet spot for viewers?
