The British automaker Aston Martin has built a special CC100 Speedster Concept for itself as the company celebrates its 100th birthday this year. The concept reflects the legendary Aston Martin DBR1 race car from the 1950s, while also giving an idea of what future production cars will look like.
Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin’s CEO, drove the CC100 in a surprise debut at the Nurburgring, making a parade lap around the German track before the start of an annual 24-hour endurance race that kicks off on May 19.
