retailing giant Amazon.com Inc introduced a series of new Kindle Fire tablets on Sept 6, kindling a price war in the tablet-computer market with their products' low prices, especially compared with Apple Inc's popular iPads, according to The Wall Street Journal. The price of an entry-level Kindle Fire was lowered to $159 from $199, said Jeff Bezos,
chief executive officer of Amazon. He also introduced three versions of high-definition Kindle Fires at between $199 and $599. Apple Inc's New iPad starts at $499. Amazon's new tablet computers are set to start shipping mid-September through late November, depending on the model. The entry-level Kindle Fire, which has a 7-inch screen and 16GB of storage, will be available the soonest.

TINGMEISHI-OSCAR: I hope these new tablets enter the market as soon as possible. If not, how could Apple Inc reduce the price of their products?
BUJIABEICAI: On what system does the new Kindle Fire run?
JIUZUIWUMIAN: I wonder when the Kindle Fire will be sold on the Chinese mainland?
