A series of events marking the opening of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will be held from January 16-18th in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying announced on Friday.
"On Jan 16 morning, President Xi Jinping well attend the opening ceremony of AIIB and deliver a speech," Hua said in a written statement.
In the afternoon on Jan 16, Premier Li Keqiang will attend the event marking the establishment of AIIB's Board of Governors, Hua said.
