BEIJING -- China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) have signed a memorandum of understanding on consumer rights protection, an official said on Tuesday.
Cooperation will focus on cross-border trade, professional training and information exchange, said Zhang Mao, head of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
Trade and economic ties between the two countries are showing healthy growth.
China is ROK's largest trading partner and ROK is China's third largest. Bilateral trade was nearly $300 billion in 2014, 60 times more than that when they established diplomatic relations in 1992.
Last year, 10 million trips were made between China and ROK. There are more than 1,000 flights between the two countries every week.
