Gome Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd, China's second-biggest electronics retailer, fell to the lowest level in almost three years in Hong Kong trading on Monday amid slowing economic growth and concern that the end of government subsidies will affect earnings.
Gome, in a statement after the close of trading, said it expects a "significant decline" in profit for the three months ended March 31 because of lower sales and a loss from its e-commerce business. The company said it would publish quarterly earnings no earlier than May 25.
