All the disciplines of Donghua University are available to international students. Early September is the beginning time of annual academic studies. Please apply beforeJun. 15.
Bachelor program of Chinese Language: Flexible schooling duration from 3 to 6 years; Admitting students both in autumn and spring semesters annually; No prerequisite for Chinese levels; Three study directions are provided: International Economy & Trade, Tourism Management, Asian Studies.
Those who have had Chinese courses at Donghua University for more than continuous ten weeks could have one time tuition waived for RMB2000 upon entering the degree program studies.
***Information on Elective Cultural Courses
Courses offered will be selected from the following: Skills for HSK, Introduction to Chinese Fashion, Hand-knitting Patterns, Calligraphy, Business Chinese, Learning to sing Chinese Songs, Chinese Cuisine, Chinese Gongfu, Interesting Chinese Characters, Mandarin Pronunciation, etc.
Class Session:13:30-17:00, Mon.-Fri.Tuition for each course varies fromRMB160 to RMB500.

Submit theApplication for Foreigners to Study at DHU, the copy of your passport and relative documents; pay for the Application FeeRMB420. (Those who want to make student apartment reservation must fill out and submit theApplication Form for Residence in International Student Apartment.)

Registration Notice
Registration time:9:00a.m-- 17:00p.m (any time),Aug. 29-30for Chinese-learning students of autumn semester 2006;Aug. 31for degree students of autumn 2006;Feb. 27-28for Chinese-learning students of spring semester 2007;Mar. 1for degree students of spring 2007.
Registration procedure:pay fees; check passport & visa; Chinese placement test (for language students).
Daily-living Information
Accommodation fees in the International Student Apartment:RMB400as deposit should be paid before moving-in and getting room key & facilities remote controllers.RMB50-80per day for a single room,RMB45per day one person for a double room.
Using automatic washing machines equipped on each floor of the International Student Apartment once costs RMB2 with a washing card. Cost for meals in Dining Halls isRMB15-20per day. Meal card (service fee is RMB16) should be used.
