TURIN, Italy _ China took gold in the women's team epee and France won
the men's team sabre title at men's team sabre on Friday at the
fencing world championships in Turin.

China's Na Li, Xiaojuan Luo, Li
Zhang and Weiping Zhong defeated defending French champions France, 45-26 in
women's team eppee.
Germany claimed third place, beating Romania 45-38.
In men's team sabre, France's Julien Pillet, Boris Sanson, Nicolas Lopez
and Vincent Anstett beat Ukraine 45-41 in the final.
Russia claimed the bronze with a 45-34 victory over Hungary.
